The vision of a modern, ergonomic, and welcoming public space, combined with purely Czech origin and professionalism, unites us with our new partner, IONT tech. Together, we have created a unique prototype of a charging station for electric vehicles, where we provided the design of the exterior made from 3D-printed concrete, and IONT tech supplied the control and charging electronics. The key advantages of a 3D-printed charger? Absolute freedom in shapes, allowing adaptation to project or client requirements.

At first glance, the industries our companies are involved in may not have much in common. However, both share the same vision: modern design, the fusion of traditional materials and cutting-edge technologies, and ultimately contributing not only to work efficiency, cost savings, and environmental benefits but also to the transformation of public spaces for the better. While we focus on automation to address challenges in construction, IONT tech tackles inadequate infrastructure hindering the development of e-mobility by developing and manufacturing solutions in the Czech Republic, utilizing local resources, skills, and labor.

We are creating spaces where people want to meet

"Thanks to 3D printed concrete technology, we aim to create public spaces that are not only purely practical but where people will feel comfortable and want to gather. With a design electric charger, we can print functional elements such as seating, tables, shelters, or even sculptures. Instead of duplicating various specialized elements and thus densifying urban spaces, we contribute to a pleasant and beautiful environment that we flexibly adapt to. The freedom for architects, along with time and material savings, is one of the enormous advantages of 3D printing," explained our chief architect Jiří Vítek.

Moreover, the possibilities of 3D printing in the field of electromobility do not end with electric vehicle chargers. Original concrete casings can also be applied to chargers for electric bicycles or small electronics. It's an opportunity and a challenge, one that we are happy to embrace. The concept we devised with IONT tech shows the direction not only for Czech electromobility but for the broader industry as well.
