With almost unlimited shape possibilities, 3D printing is ideal for producing spectacular engineering and utility structures such as fences, retaining walls, noise walls, water tanks and canals, and precision foundation elements.
As part of the development of Modesta's protective structures and elements, safety furniture has been developed that can help define the public space of our cities and, in addition to its function as urban furniture, also fulfils an aesthetic and protective function.
Mobility doesn't have to be just a passive element of the city, but it has also been enriched with a function for charging electric vehicles. Together with IONTtech, we presented a bench with added charging functionality at the E-Salon.
This elegant collection was created for the exhibition "Biomorphic Machines" at the famous Villa Tugendhat in Brno. When creating the individual products, we were inspired by movement, dance and the coral world under the sea. The technology used allowed us to integrate the supporting and surface parts into each other.
The design of this collection was based on a simulation of natural coral reef systems. This method allows the design of furniture with highly complex shapes that can be adapted to its intended location. The customer can become a co-creator of their furniture and choose from a variety of shapes and colours as well as the structure of the filling. As a result, the collection offers virtually unlimited design options.
We originally designed the collection inspired by the animal kingdom for the Jihlava Zoo. It serves as a great example of the possibilities our technology provides. It has very intricate, smooth curves that are very difficult to achieve without 3D concrete printing technology.
