Description | The course is divided into two training blocks. In the first, you will learn and practice selected advanced lean methods and techniques for managing improvement projects. In the second, we will focus on communication and information transfer. You will develop and present your own improvement project to others. |
Entry level skills | It's good to know what lean thinking is, to be aware of basic lean methods, and to want to extend lean thinking to those around you. |
How the course works | In the first training session we will learn theoretically and practically in the meeting room about advanced lean methods and techniques for managing improvement projects (DMAIC methodology, stakeholder management, FMEA, 5S, Spaghetti diagram, VSM and workshop facilitation). You will try out selected methods in practical demonstrations with the team. In between training sessions, you will work on an approved improvement project of your choice. You will have the opportunity to consult with the trainer. In the second training block we will continue with the Shopfloor management method and the basics of Agile. We will focus on communication and information transfer. We will also go into production or the warehouse. At the end, he will present the status of his own improvement project. |

Achieved annual savings in three months in a European purchasing project.
