Description

You know lean thinking and have benefited from its application many times. But sometimes problems seem complex and just applying lean thinking is not enough and knowledge of basic lean methods is required.

Entry level skills

It's good to know what lean thinking is and want to get better at applying it.

How the course works

Theoretically and practically we will learn about basic lean methods (process mapping, root cause search, SMED). You will then apply the knowledge you have gained to your chosen process under the guidance of the lecturer. In this way, you will try to go through the entire improvement process from start to finish so that you are not caught off guard by any unexpected obstacles in your next effort.

What you will need

You will be given one or two processes per group where you will want to apply your knowledge under the guidance of the tutor.

Use in practice

You can optimize processes using basic lean methods.
