Automatic grinding and milling of helmets

For our customer, we have supplied a fully automatic workstation for grinding and milling helmets. The individual operations are carried out at the positions of an electric rotary table, on which clamping fixtures are placed.

The workstation includes a KUKA robot with an electric spindle with automatic tool change for milling the contour of the helmet and drilling holes. Also, a second KUKA robot with a vibrating grinder for grinding the surface of the helmet. The workstation includes a fully automatic washer with subsequent drying.
